The rehabilitation of the long vacant 54,698 square foot Archer Building in the Brady Arts District of downtown Tulsa includes the development of fourteen apartments at below-market rents, artist studio spaces, and a variety of small business spaces, which include a chocolate factory, brick and mortar ventures for two food truck operators, an artisanal donut shop, a nonprofit bookstore with education space, and a vinyl-record store.
The George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF) has sponsored the project. NMR provided $10 million of New Markets Tax Credits and GKFF provided leverage loan funds, bridge loans, and a large equity investment for the project.
